The club is hosting a 13-mile bike ride with our friends at the Recycling and Reuse Technology Transfer Center (RRTTC), and with Mulligan's Brick Oven Bar & Grill on Thursday, April 21st, the day before Earth Day. This ride departs at 5:30 p.m. from the Maucker Union Fountain Plaza. You'll need to pre-register for the ride by Tuesday, April 19th so that we can determine how many volunteers we will need to effectively run the event. This casual ride will showcase the beauty and convenience of the Cedar Valley Trails System while promoting bicycling as a fun and environmentally-friendly way to get around the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Metropolitan Area. Whether for fun or for an energizing way to commute to work, bicycling can't be beat! We hope you will join us on this ride, no matter what your level of cycling experience is.
