Get excited Panthers, because a new academic year is upon us! UNI will be having its first Mountain Biking and Cyclocross season in our conference ,and the road season will be here before you know it as well. We're in the process of obtaining sponsors and designing our team-kits as well as potentially hosting our very first race! Be on the lookout for an announcement regarding our first club meeting on our Facebook page.
Also, in case you haven't heard, UNI Cycling obtained THIRD PLACE in our division standings. We were a mere 10 points behind St. Olaf for second place. For our first year in racing, this is outstanding and we should be very proud of our racers for putting forth such outstanding efforts. It is great motivation for the coming year. |

April is jammed packed full of events for UNI Cycling on top of racing. We have several trail/area clean-ups planned, the Earth Week booth and ride as well as preparation for helping out Cedar Falls with their bikeways and bike parking. The club had its first presence in the NCCCC conference this weekend down in Iowa City and did not go away empty handed. To see the results of the races and any future races, check out the "Races & Results" section of the website. Less than a year and already the Panthers are a force to be reckoned with in collegiate racing! Go UNI!
The next race will either be @ Kansas or Nebraska, a week or two away, so stay tuned! |

- April 2-3 – UI Race Weekend (Iowa)
- April 9-10 – KU Race Weekend (Kansas)
- April 16-17 – UNL Tour de Husker (Nebraska-Lincoln)
- April 23-24 – UMTC Golden Gopher Race Weekend (Minnesota-Twin Cities)
- April 30-May 1 – UND/NDSU Race Weekend (North Dakota/North Dakota State)
- May 6-8 – Collegiate Road Nationals (Madison, WI)

We'll be having a meeting in the College Eye Room of Maucker Union on Tuesday, Jan. 25th at 7 p.m. We'll go over some club matters such as sponsorship, finances, the upcoming spring season, UNI cycling club history, team kit info, and lots more.
